31

31

To be honest, I didn't even realize I was turning 31. For a while there I thought I was turning 32. So perhaps I should be thankful that I over shot my own age. I can take some refuge in realizing that I'm one year less older than what I thought I was going to be.

I'm not 31... I can't say I ever was too excited for my birthday. I mean, I don't throw parties or anything of the such. I don't even spend it with family. To be honest, the last time I have had a birthday meal with my parents was at the very least a decade ago.

They're usually out of the state traveling or I'm busy working and it's always been left up as an I.O.U. One that I haven't cashed in - I'm not even sure why not. I mean, it's a free meal after all. Then again, I would have to deal with my family for more than an hour.

This means that I haven't really done much for my birthday in the past. Make no mistake, this isn't feeling bummed out that I'm getting old. I certainly don't feel old. I mean, I still look like I'm in my early 20's and by god, I just realize that I have a zit.

What the hell? My perfect Spaniard skin can't be tainted by this ugly bump on my face! I guess that's just proof that I'm de-aging as I'm going along. Though that shouldn't come to any surprise. According to some study, I wont start feeling old till I'm in my 50's and can't get my dick up... in fact, studies back up that claim.. By suggesting that men start feeling over the hill at age 59 while women start feeling that at age 29.
A new study has revealed that women consider themselves old at 29 - half the age of men who don't feel over the hill until they are 58.

A quarter of women say they felt old as soon as they spotted their first grey hairs.

On the other hand, men tend to think they are still young until they can no longer perform in the bedroom, according to the study by Avalon Funeral Plans.

It is thought that this gulf between the sexes is because age perception is so determined by society's attitude towards youth and beauty.

"In our society the attractiveness of women is quite important. Men don't have to be good looking but, for some reason, it's important for women to look presentable," the Daily Mail quoted psychologist Professor Cary Cooper from Lancaster University as saying.

"Magazines are all about youth and are filled with young, attractive women. Women then start to perceive themselves as old when they no longer feel like this, when they don't feel trendy or fashionable.

"Men, on the other hand, don't have to be good looking, it doesn't concern them."

He added: "At 30, women have matured, they're expected to think about getting married and starting a family.

I'm turning 31 and from what I can tell, I'm getting far more compliments and I do get hit on by women when I'm at the pub way more now than I ever did when I was in my early 20's.

Now, I always knew that I shared my birthday with Francis Ford Coppola. I always thought that was pretty cool. Especially since the field I work in is said film industry. Though I'm pretty sure the only thing we have in common is that we enjoy film, wine and were born on the same calendar day.

But here I am, ten years after I was legally allowed to buy alcohol and consume it without the cops giving me shit for it and I realize that it's also another holiday. Another day in history that is pretty significant...

You see, the sale of beer was finally made legal after prohibition on April 7th, 1933.
Sales of beer in the U.S would become legal on April 7, 1933, provided that the state in question had enacted its own law allowing such sales. The beer had to have an alcohol content less than 3.2% (4% ABV), compared to the 0.5% limit of the Volstead Act, because 3.2% was considered too low to produce intoxication. On the evening of April 6, people lined up outside breweries and taverns, waiting for midnight when they would be able to legally purchase beer for the first time in over 13 years. Since then, the night of April 6 has been referred to as "New Beer's Eve."
So I guess it's only fitting considering my latest wave of alcoholism. Don't call it alcoholism, call it celebration of capitalism. The sale and consumption of alcohol - woooooo!

So I'm 31 years old and a bit wiser for it.... and yet I'm sure I'll still be doing the same silly things I always have been.

Killing Yourself

Killing Yourself

As my birthday draws closer and closer in the days, I often wonder.. why don't I just kill myself. I mean, in this world where I have very little power over anything, I can very well seize the means of my own destruction?

It's a truly socialist thing to do, wouldn't you agree? But I wonder, if you commit suicide, are you winning against capital? On one hand, you can't be sued as a tool of the oppressor anymore. But on the other hand, you are missing out on the ripe opportunity to kill capitalist and revolting against the social norms.

I guess you don't really win against capital unless you take out as many capitalist in the process of your demise. Perhaps something like blowing yourself up at an Goldman Sachs holiday party.

Though the best that I can come up with is to possibly acquire massive levels of debt and take out as many loans as possible against shit that doesn't exist and then at that moment I should jump off a building and land straight on a banker. Now that's the winning strike.

Of course I'll have to make sure that I don't have any living children or relatives who will potentially inherit my debt. Man, there's really no fighting capital, is there? I mean, capital is sure to get you killed in the long run and capital doesn't even give a shit about death.

So this whole notion is just silly and one big trick question. There is no winning against capital and killing myself will do nothing towards the plight of the proletarian.

Welp, might as well just face turning 31.

Four More Beers!

FOUR MORE BEERS!

No.. wait, I mean four more years! Yeah, that's right. Are you folks ready for the 2012 Presidential campaign? I mean.. LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED, YO!

Of course this is an assumption we all could have made, but I got the email and the facebook update yesterday and here we are.

Barack Obama is officially running for President of the United States of America. Yeah, sure, it's been a rough couple of years for the President, economy, wars, republican obstructionism, racism, people general crabbiness about things not going the way they thought or hoped or were lied to about, it must suck being the boss, right?

Yeah..... I'm pretty sure the new slogan should be
MAYBE WE KINDA COULD, SORTA
That video is a painfully pathetic joke. Why yes, it begins with us... keep saying that as you cut the taxes of the top 2%.

Though, maybe this new video was pushed to be released because of last week's April fools video.

To be honest, he probably should have ran with that one video from the get go. I mean, who wouldn't vote for someone riding a unicorn?

At this point I realize that I was enthralled not with Obama, but the idea of Obama.

Yup, it took a democratic president to make public financing of campaigns, ending the wars, letting the tax cuts for the rich elapse, the end of torture, and public healthcare all moot and irrelevant -- and that's no small feat to ignore.

Obama 2012: When you want a GOP agenda without actually voting for a GOP candidate. What other motto can be said about this? What do you mean I proved representative democracy is a joke? -Obama 2012

It's not going to be pretty. Isn't there suppose to be a second foreclosure wave this year with all the ARMs readjusting? I can't wait to see Obama stammer his way out of that one. Maybe I will finally break and revert to fascism. Maybe the whole country will. It's not as if all that hope and change actually happened.

We elected a milquetoast liberal corporatist President. Sure, he was black. And I guess no one believe it could happen in the United States of America. So yeah, we've come so far. Yes we did. Yes we did. But what has Obama done for us lately? Of the top of my head there's:

Obama Pros
I guess he stopped the economy from completely bottoming out
Repeal of DADT
Likes Basketball
From Chicago
Gave FDA the ability to regulate manufacturing and marketing of tobacco
Signed new START Treaty with Russia
Ended Bush-era policy of sanctioned torture

Obama Cons
Economy still recovering slowly
Military tribunals
Continuation of Gitmo, indefinite detention
Escalation of war in Afghanistan (one of the few campaign promises kept!)
Expansion of War on Terror (bombings in Yemen, Somalia)
No leadership in Libyan bombing campaign
Tax cuts for the richest 2% of Americans
Tends to side with big banks (IE opooses Elizabeth Warren)
Extension of the Patriot Act
State-sponsored torture of Bradley Manning
Enhanced TSA procedures are a violation of 4th amendment rights
Promised public access to full text of bills for 3 days before he signs it to law: campaign promise broken

Obama Wash
Increased fuel economy standards but only 7 MPG
Healthcare Reform did nothing/little to stem rising costs
He's not a Republican but he's not liberal
Credit Card Bill of Rights (good policy but banks are finding new ways to fuck us over see: cap on debit cards)

And you could also go see what Obama has done at What The Fuck Has Obama Done Dot Com

An Endless campaign to match the final endless wars of the dying American empire. So who else is running? Well, the frontrunner in the race is a lying Goldman-Sachs puppet who is widely known in Atlanta as "Uncle Tom" and by even less flattering names elsewhere.

Tim Pawlenty - Courage to stand... That ad is the best. I mean, it's like a Transformers trailer. Hell, you could pretty much plug it into a Transformers trailer.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, widely believed to be a 2012 Republican presidential contender, is making the rounds in key early voting states like Iowa -- and trying his hand at pop culture 101 to win over a growing voting bloc, the Des Moines Register reports.

"I think what the younger voters have figured out is that this is a broken relationship (with Obama)," Pawlenty said at the Iowa Federation of College Republicans dinner in Des Moines, Iowa. "If this was a Lady Gaga song, the relationship between the youth vote and Barack Obama would be 'Bad Romance.' "The Register's Jennifer Jacobs noted that Pawlenty even invoked Charlie Sheen:

"We may not in this room have tiger blood like he does, but we've got something else in common with him. There's going to be a lot of winning on the Republican side in 2012."
So hey, at least there's a comedy option in all this. But over all I have a real big question.. if the U.S. can put a black corporate shill into the White House, what's stopping us from putting a Green Socialist there?

It can be done.. we just need to try! Waste your vote - 2012! You just need to stop and thnk for a moment that this "Voting for the lesser of two evils" thing is so common enough that we'll actually never have a decent government.

Then again, who knows. Maybe Obama, with out the fear of having to run for re-election in a second term will be more left and potentially wants to fire up voters for the 2014 election to get a democratic majority.

A Balanced Budget And Taxes Forever

A Balanced Budget And Taxes Forever

To think, I told myself earlier in the pub that maybe I'd had too much to drink this evening. Turns out I didn't have nearly enough. What am I talking about? Oh, so you see, the house republicans have submitted a plan to balance the budget... It may be a long read, but I bold the parts you could skim and still know what is going on.
Washington (CNN) -- House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin, will unveil a highly anticipated 2012 Republican budget next week that proposes dramatic changes to political lightning rods: entitlements.

The plan, to be released Tuesday, calls for a controversial overhaul of Medicare, the health care program for seniors, and imposes deep cuts in Medicaid, which provides health benefits to low-income Americans, according to House Republican sources with knowledge of the proposal.

Starting 10 years from now, in 2021, Americans would no longer enroll in the Medicare program, but instead receive vouchers for private insurance, according to the GOP sources, who stressed anyone 55 or older now would not be affected by the change.

The plan is modeled after one Ryan proposed last year with Alice Rivlin, budget director under President Bill Clinton.

Details of how Ryan's Medicare voucher program would work are still unclear, but the Ryan-Rivlin plan said the amount of the voucher -- a lump sum payment from the government -- would be calculated in part by taking the average federal cost per Medicare enrollee.

The GOP aims to save billions of dollars in revamping Medicare, a large contributor to the massive federal deficit and debt.

Sources said they did not yet know how much savings Ryan would project by drastically changing the Medicare program.

On Medicaid, Ryan's plan calls for deep cuts, as much as $1 trillion. The program would also fundamentally change -- the federal share of the Medicaid system would become block grants to the states.

CNN has been told that the House GOP budget plan does not call for significant change to the Social Security program. Republicans argue that while Social Security is a factor in the nation's fiscal crisis, it doesn't contribute as much to the soaring debt as Medicare.

Two House GOP lawmakers briefed on the proposal told CNN they and others on the House Budget Committee believe it's a mistake not to tackle Social Security.
As for so-called discretionary spending, one of the sources -- who would not speak on the record before the plan is publicly announced -- said Ryan's proposal promises to roll back spending to 2006 levels.

It's unclear how much that would slash, but it is expected to be far more than the roughly $61 billion in spending cuts House Republicans passed in February.
Ryan is expected to give specifics on how much savings the plan would create when it is unveiled Tuesday.

A GOP source said even with the major cuts and changes in Ryan's proposal -- essentially a blueprint that guides spending decisions and does not go to the president for his signature -- it would not bring the budget into balance for many years.

Still, GOP sources briefed on the plan said it would save hundreds of billions of dollars more than the president's proposed 2012 budget, and trillions over the next 10 years.

The budget would also cut the corporate tax rate, but at the same time do away with tax loopholes for corporations.

Ryan's plan also provides for a permanent extension of all the Bush-era tax cuts, which under a compromise with President Barack Obama were extended last year through 2012.

House Republican leaders have been signaling for some time that they plan dramatic and controversial changes to entitlement programs in order to rein in the budget deficit and debt.

Knowing that the proposed changes will be politically risky and elicit an onslaught of criticism, Ryan and Republican Whip Kevin McCarthy have been holding sessions two or three times a week with House Republicans to try to arm them with information about the gravity of the debt problem and why it needs to be fixed.

CNN was allowed into one of these meetings last month, and heard Ryan lay out for his GOP colleagues in stark terms what he calls the "tidal wave" of debt the country is facing.

"The Congressional Budget Office has this economic model where they measure the economy going forward, and they are telling us that the entire economy crashes in the year 2037 because their computer simulation can't conceive of any way in which the U.S. economy can continue," Ryan told the GOP group.

"By the time my kids are my age, just those three programs -- Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare --will consume all federal revenues. There will be no room for anything else in the federal budget," Ryan said.

When Ryan proposed a version of his Medicare overhaul idea last year, known as his "road map," Democrats skewered it and tried to use it as a campaign weapon against Republicans across the country.

Obama has often said it is important for Washington to address entitlement spending. But the president has not offered any specific proposals, and Republicans suggest he wants them to take the first risky steps.

Multiple GOP sources admit the timing of Ryan's 2012 budget proposal is tricky. It will be released in the middle of down-to-the-wire, contentious negotiations with Democrats about a spending measure to keep the government running for the rest of this 2011 fiscal year.

CNN has been told that GOP leaders considered delaying the release of Ryan's budget until this year's spending differences are resolved. However, they decided to go ahead with it in hopes showing major cuts and reforms planned for next year will calm rank-and-file conservatives who feel the leadership is too compromising on spending cuts.
After reading this I did one of those laughs where you choke a little bit on saliva and then my laughter subsides as my eyes somberly wander across the room and lock onto a bottle of whiskey in quiet despair.

Just look at this piece of utter shit.

"I -- we-- are going to suck the marrow from your bones. Your children will wail and cry as we rape you in front of them. You will know only suffering, and your world will be as blackened ash."

Why do I say any of this? Well, come one. Just look at the charts

Let's just face reality, the Bush tax cuts will become permanent and that's about that on the subject.

I keep on saying this and I'm constantly amazed that there's still levels in which this country can completely let me down. But fuck it, stop this car. I want to get off this ride.

I wonder how differently I'd view all this awful shit hole of a shit if I was rich.

This is really the most blatant fucking over of the poor and sucking the cock of the rich proposal I have ever seen. Also, it does nothing to really tackle that issue of reducing the deficit. You might as well be advocating to slaughter the poor and helpless as they're clearly sucking the rich dry.

Which is probably the saddest part. The fact that it not fixing the deficit is probably the only thing that the democrats will attack this proposal on.

It's pretty clear that every time the GOP does something like this, it's basically their chance to survey and to focus test and see exactly what people will and won't accept while simultaneously driving the overtone window to the right again. They will get to cut medicare, if not now then next time or the one after that. It's pretty much a given at this point and it's all because they're more disciplined than the left and more powerful than the left.

If we have any future at all, it will be full of history books praising anyone who killed the people responsible for shit like this. I mean, it's not completely coming as a surprise, but it's still unsettling to finally see the Class Warfare get fully underway as this clearly signals.

Reminder : Reagan Was A Bad Person

Reminder: Reagan Was A Bad Person

I was at the post office the other day and I saw that Reagan had a forever stamp. So from here on out, he can fight inflation from the comfort of piece of paper that you will lick the backside of to send something out.

With that in mind, I thought you should be reminded of all the bad things he did.

Criminal:
Iran-Contra treason.
Lied about it.
Likely encouraged Iran to keep US Embassy hostages until he was into office.

Fiscal:
Supply-side economics.
National debt tripled.
$12 billion trade surplus --> $100+ billion trade deficit.
Deregulated savings and loans, precipitated huge economic crisis.
Tax raiser.
Taxed the poor, cut taxes for the rich.
SDI "Star Wars" boondoggle.
Military spending increased to match imaginary spending in USSR.
Deregulation caused oil bust.
Broke air traffic control union.

Social:
Gutted social welfare.
Release of mental patients without recourse, homeless population up.
Ignored AIDS crisis.
Abstinence-only sex education.
Strengthened ATF, banned automatic weapons, blamed Democrats for it.
Increased spending for War on Drugs.
National drinking age of 21.
Underfunded NEA.
EPA Superfund grants manipulated to help Republicans in local elections.
Deregulated kids' tv, initiated 22 minute toy ads.
Killed energy programs.
Crack in the ghettos. (? Due to support for Contras and Noriega?)

Foreign:
Wars all over Central America, incl Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras.
Promoted Iran-Iraq war.
Sent Marines into Beirut, abandoned mission after terrorist bombing.
Broke detente with USSR until Gorbachev personally made things better.
Backed Contras in drug running schemes.
Supported right-wing dictators and movements everywhere, including:
Apartheid regime in SA.
Marcos regime in Phillipines.
Saddam Hussein and Baathist regime in Iraq, even after Kurds gassed.
Taliban in Afghanistan.
Manuel Noriega in Panama.
Augusto Pinochet in Chile.

Concepts:
Welfare queens.
Trees cause pollution.
Ketchup as a vegetable.

Appointments:
30+ convicted appointees.
Ed Meese at Justice, porn freak.
James Watt at Interior, idiot, corrupt.
William Casey at CIA, religious nut, strikes into Uzbekistan. (? Uzb part of USSR, maybe mean Afghanistan?)
HUD a corrupt mess in general.
Politicised CIA.
Robert Bork to SCOTUS (failed), segregationist and asshole.
Antonin Scalia, same but he got in.

Personal:
Unfit to serve due to Alzheimer's disease by term's end.
Horrible excuse for a human being in general.
McCarthyite.
Neo-Conservative. (? Isn't neo-conservatism post-Cold War?)
Backed Moral Majority.
Pardoned Robert Walker, who went on to kill his wife.
Started presidential campaign at racist murder crime scene in Philadelphia, MS.
Laid wreath and made speech at SS cemetery in Germany.
Vietnam War a "noble cause."
Helped start right-wing noise machine. (? By promoting myth of liberal media?)
Hated sex, made Ron Jr. feel like a sissy and quit ballet.
Dumb as a stump.
Believed in astrology and used it to run government.
Innovated "talking points" cue cards.
"I don't recall" to weasel out of press questions.
Confused movies with reality.
Outlawed Russia forever, started bombing in five minutes.

So as you can see, this man was a bad bad person.

Po-Po-Po-Poker Face

Po-Po-Po-Poker Face

Now in the world of weird news, it seems like Lady Gaga has come across something that even she finds strange. Breast milk ice cream.
Lady GaGa sues ice cream parlour over 'Baby Gaga' breast-milk product
Flamboyant pop star Lady Gaga is said to be suing the owner of a London ice cream parlour over its breast-milk product, Baby Gaga.

GaGa - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - is one of America's most successful artists and won a slew of Grammy Awards, last month. But the gay-rights advocate is now taking legal action against Matt O'Connor over a product her lawyers call ‘nausea-inducing’ and ‘intended to take advantage of [her] reputation and goodwill’.

The product, which contains human breast milk, launched two weeks ago to global publicity.

According to the Daily Mail, the shop - The Icecreamists – are accused of 'riding on the coattails' of Lady Gaga by using a waitress dressed like her to serve the product.

They are told to 'change the name of the ice cream to something which is not aurally, visually or conceptually similar to Lady Gaga' or court action will be taken.
Owner Matt O'Connor called the action "utterly ridiculous".

He told the Evening Standard: 'This is a David versus Goliath battle I’m convinced we will eventually win. The world’s biggest superstar has taken umbrage with the world’s smallest ice-cream parlour.'
"For Lady Gaga to accuse us of stealing her image is laughable when you consider how much she has borrowed from popular culture to create her look and music.

"She also seems to have forgotten that since the dawn of time the word gaga has been one of the first discernible phrases to come from a baby’s mouth. This is why we chose the name.

"As for her assertion that our product is distasteful, perhaps she should reflect on her blood-spurting performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, or the fact she wears clothes fabricated from the flesh of dead animals. We have applied to register the trademark Baby Gaga and are confident we’ll secure this."

A spokesman for Lady Gaga refused to comment.

So let me get this straight - Coming out in the MTV awards ceremony looking like a giant used tampon is kosher, but having your name used in an Ice Cream parlor named "Baby Gaga" is off the table?

It seems so, Lady Gaga is suing them over the name of the ice cream. I guess Lady Gaga doesn't have enough money already and clearly needs to protect her own interests by suing a msall ice cream shop.

Why yes, this is exactly why we have a court system in place and it's a good use of that resource if I ever saw one.

Why yes.. Gaga, why you getting all mad at boob milk being used to make ice cream when you're wearing a meat dress? I guess that's just the way things are. Crazy artist who is on the cutting edge of taste and culture draws the line at human breast milk.

"Hmmmm, boob milk ice cream? Nope! That's totally gross!"

But then again, I probably wouldn't eat any ice cream made from breast milk also. I mean, milk from a human? Ugh! No thank you. I'll get it from this huge animal as it chews its cud.

Though maybe I'm being to hasty on the matter. I should give it a shot. It could be good after all. Why yes, please give me a single scoop of baby gaga in a waffle cone, please.

Maybe this just shows that Gaga is a bourgeois capitalist pig and ardent defender of liberalism. I mean, what next? Though I could have fun with this news piece with the naming. Gaga milk bilk saGa: Pop Star Perturbed over name nicking, vows to suck Mammary Merchants Dry.

Boooyah!

I mean, come on GaGa, let's just let it be. The product on a whole sounds like it could be some sort of delicious novelty item and this publicity stunt, in its mutual benefits, is good for all parties involved. I'm surprised and a little disappointed that Gaga didn't endorse this product upon hearing about it and chug a few bottle of breast milk for the cameras. It would seem like it would be just her type of thing.

But now I'm stuck thinking about a lightly sweetened breast milk gelato, solid texture with speckles of vanilla bark mixed in. Oh man, I wonder if this fetish already exist on the internet.

A Foolish April

A Foolish April

I dislike this day. Not because I'm a stick in the mud who doesn't like pranks being pulled on me.. Oh believe me, I'm a-okay with pranks. My complaint comes in the fact that no one is able to pull a good prank these days.

Suggesting that Facebook is going to start charging after May 1st isn't a good prank. At best you'd have me saying "Well then, that's unfortunate". Also, suggesting that you are pregnant to your boyfriend isn't much of a prank. I mean.. not unless you really want to hear him tell you how he wants you to abort it. Then the pranks just come full circle.

Over all the art of the prank has long since died. And really, that's the biggest complaint here - That no one is actually pulling off good pranks anymore. But I can't blame them. How are you suppose to pull a prank on someone today? The day that everyone expects someone to pull a prank on them. That's got to be the worse possible thing possible. This day is just set up for failure.

I'm more than happy to get into a prank war. I will make you cry with the WMD's that I'll bust out. I'm serious, you do not want to cross me when it comes to having pranks pulled. I go full blast. Some of the classics:

- Putting tape on the bottom of a friend's optical mouse. They wont know why the mouse isn't working.

-Make a fake desktop on their computers. Basically hit Print Screen to capture all the normal icons that are up there. Then go into the file and make that image the background/wallpaper. Now take all their shortcut icons and put them in a folder so that the desktop looks like it normally would but clicking on anything doesn't do shit.

Or you could just make it look like their computer is fucked up.

nuff said.

- Tie a rubber band around the sprayer handle on the kitchen sink. When the person turns on the water they'll get blasted.

- Put a thin layer of saran wrap tightly over the toilet bowl. Let the sadness ensue.

- Super glue a couple of quarters to the ground and see who will sit there trying to pull them up.

- You can be one of the millions of people to use Facebook and pretend to Break up/ Get Engaged / Married on April 1st.... Then again, you could be the only person NOT to do this also.

- If you have a friend who wont kill you for it, post their phone number on craigslist casual encounters. At least you'll be helping a friend get laid.

You see. Those there. Those are pranks. Telling me that Facebook is going to charge money or that you're getting a divorce is not an April fools joke. It's nothing but baggage I don't want to deal with.

Another side to April fools is the many many different online fuckery. In fact, today is probably the worst day to be on the internet. You will never find anymore amounts of fake news and otherwise bullshit pranks than you will online. From websites that change their format to simply offering stupid offers.

But there is some of them that are worth noting.

Think Geek always has their annual April Fools Products:
http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/looflirpa/
Which always annoy me a little because they're not actually real. Though in the past one or two items got such popular demand that they were made. I'm guessing that the star wars popsicle molds will be made into a real product this year. Otherwise I'm just going to make one myself. The Apple Store Playmobil playset is very well done for a faker product.

Look at Hulu circa 1995-1996: http://www.hulu.com/index.htm

Adblock's getting a major update.

It looks like Google pulled out a doozy with their Gmail motion. It's a way you can e-mail using a webcam and gestures. Not outdated interfaces like a keyboard and mouse. http://mail.google.com/mail/help/motion.html

Here are some simple, easy to use gestures we'll be able to use any time we're emailing!

I love how "Hello" and "I love you" are disastrously similar to one another.

XKCD has apparently gone 3D.

Wikipedia's main page is appearing a bit less than normal.

Then I give you the latest in great products from Ikea.. The Ikea Hundstol

If you want more online April fooled sites, just take a look at this site as it has a nice list for you to keep track of. http://aprilfoolsdayontheweb.com/

So yeah.. how about putting some effort in to your otherwise lame joke. The internet did, why can't you?
