Now that I got the FBI's attention, let's talk about this guy and what he said to a classroom of math students.

The teacher was appar­ently teaching his geometry students about parallel lines and angles, officials said. He used the example of where to stand and aim if shooting Obama.

"He was talking about angles and said, 'If you're in this building, you would need to take this angle to shoot the president,'" said Joseph Brown, a senior in the geometry class.

Another student said: "We were going over a test and getting reviewed for our finals and were going over tangency. A student walked in and said, 'Well, if you shoot the president...' and the teacher picked up on it and said, 'OK, if you shoot off his ear, that is a point of tangency.'"

Malia Drummond, a student in Harrison's class during the lesson, defended him as an conscientious teacher who didn't deserve to be fired. She told Birmingham News: "Yeah, the comment was probably inappropriate, but who in America hasn't make a joke about Obama?

Well now, I guess columbine paranoia has died down a bit, wasn't so long ago that a student even mentioned anything about shooting or bombs would send up alarms and they'll get expelled and questioned by the police. Here I thought the teacher was just trying to educate them on the world of angles.



Math teachers in general are pretty creepy though. I think it's all the time spent with numbers that just drives them off the deep end. As well as figuring out that we're simply insignificant numbers in the grand scheme of things. But come on. The baby who squealed on him needs to be punched into oblivion. Don't they know that snitches get stitches?

I mean, did you know that it was illegal? That suggesting or even saying you will kill the president can get you into some real deep trouble? It's something you should know cause, I mean.. it is one of those things you would think is in your freedom of speech rights but isn't. I mean, ask this guy. He'll give you the skinny.



Ha ha ha ha.. but no. Seriously all joking aside, how do we kill the president? I'm putting the FBI spotlight on you, people. How would you kill the president?

I hear that he's allergic to coherent policy and keeping campaign promises, so the surest way would probably be making him do something related to those.

Most importantly, Where's the death certificate?

I'm sure someone seriously reported this blog post to the secret service and they're gonna have to investigate all threats to the president no matter how stupid and ridiculous it sounds. Even if it's full of sarcasm and black comedy. And if they're not on the case, perhaps I should expand it out to world leaders on a whole. What's the best way to kill Margaret Thatcher? I imagine jumping out and shouting "BOO" would probably do the trick.



Or I could be like those Ring Wingers who are quoting a bible verse that means "Go kill a black democrat" and expressing this view through bumper stickers. it's just perfect, if you think about it. I mean, what the bible verse is saying is may he die quickly. That surely isn't inciting violence in your prayer, right? I wonder if you can incite god to violence and does it fall under the freedom of/for religion? I guess that's how this teacher should have played it out.

I remember my youth with English teachers making joke about the death of the Pope. Ah yes, my drunk English teacher in catholic school was pretty cool.. and drunk. Perhaps this all could have been avoided if the Math teacher used Hitler as the example as no one cares if we kill him off in our words and imagination. It should be like that in all text books because kids love that sort of shit.

With this blog I am not encouraging or inciting anyone to make any physical and mental harm on our president. Nor am I making any threat to our president or any president of our rich American history. Though Lincoln kind of had it coming.

Time sure has a way of flying. Especially when you're having fun. Well, in this case 2009 was part of the naughts.. which was a decade which I'd rather forget a great portion of it. Unfortunately for our President, a lot of that was caught on video tape. Say.. like this little piece


Yeah, that's right. A year ago yesterday Obama promised to close Guantanamo within a year. Hm, I wonder which timezone we're going by. East Coast I guess? Either way the day has come and past and we still have Gitmo sitting there with a lot of people still in there. But hey, they're all terrorist so it doesn't really matter, right?

A year ago today, President Obama ordered the closing of the infamous detention facilities at Guantánamo Bay within the year. This pledge committed America to breaking away from the lawless policies of the Bush era and restoring respect for justice and human rights.

Not only does Guantánamo remain open, but according to news reports today, an administration task force has recommended the detention without trial of nearly 50 of the 198 prisoners held there because "they are too difficult to prosecute but too dangerous to release."

Holding people indefinitely without charge or trial goes against the rule of law and undermines our nation’s Constitutional values.

Tell President Obama you want him to end indefinite detention and close Guantánamo.

Since the attempted Christmas Day airplane bombing, fear-mongering politicians have used the threat of terrorism to justify keeping Guantánamo Bay open. Confronted with these scare tactics and afraid of being branded "soft on terrorism," too few politicians are standing up for American values of justice and due process.

That is why it is absolutely essential for President Obama to hear from all Americans who want to see failed Bush administration policies reversed and these injustices brought to an end.

Tell President Obama you want him to end indefinite detention and close Guantánamo.

We must close the facility at Guantánamo and -- to be true to our values -- we must also end indefinite detention, try detainees in federal court, or release them to countries where they won't be tortured.

If there’s no evidence against a detainee, send him to a country where he won’t be tortured. And if there is evidence, bring a trial in the same federal court system that successfully prosecuted the terrorists behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

President Obama needs to hear from people like you who believe in the Constitution and the rule of law, want to see Guantánamo closed and end the practice of indefinite detention.

Please join us in telling President Obama that you support ending indefinite detention, closing Guantánamo Bay and upholding American values of justice and due process.

Whooops!, Guess that it's not normal for a elected official to keep his promises. I guess he must have learned secret information from Bush that explains why it's necessary. I hear that the secret information is "Once you're President you can do whatever the fuck you want"

Maybe he'll do it in the afternoon. It is Saturday, after all. Who doesn't put off their chores as they're enjoying the first day of the weekend. But then, if you put it off till Sunday than you really don't have that much time to relax before going back to work. Oh man, the choices the choices.



I suppose that the real fucked up thing isn't that he didn't close it, but that no one cares that he didn't keep that promise. It's also pretty fucked up that we all believed that he would. Oh well. I guess the real pressing question is, who will play him in the biopic: Will Smith or Denzel? Maybe Mos Def will be tossed into the mix. Just don't make it Cuba Gooding Jr. That guy acted as a retard in one film and well, that just opens the doors for tea baggers to make fun of them. I would take Tiger Woods over Cuba, but on the flip side I'd take Robert Downy Jr. in Black face over most of those choices.

I know, maybe we just need to give him more time. I'm sure in a little while he'll reveal his stealth progressiveness and oppose all the shit policies he has up to this point explicitly endorsed. I'm not trying to sound like a Lefty, but there's some really clear difference on what he said and what he's doing now.



A few days after Obama's order to close gitmo, some voice on NPR said he'd be absolutely eviscerated by democrats if he didn't do it within a year. Guess not. On Wednesday Obama tells us the state of our nation. I can't wait to see him completely ignore the Guantanamo topic. Maybe in order to close Guantanamo he must open the hearts of the Americans.

I guess Obama figured out that once he was elected he gained exactly nothing from releasing 50 poor angry muslim dudes with literal Problems Caused Directly by the US Government but that he loses everything if anything close to 9/11 ever happens again.

Do I have a Christmas time treat for you. For all of you folks who are keeping score with their Barry Obama promise trackers, you can cross another one off the list finally. It looks like Obama is finally going to close down Gitmo.. then again, he's going to reopen it in Illinois..

President Obama ordered the federal government Tuesday to buy the Thomson Correctional Center in northwest Illinois to house Guantanano detainees as the administration revealed that military trials would be conducted at the prison.

Meanwhile, critics of Obama's plan to move the suspected terrorists now at the military prison in Cuba to Thomson -- 150 miles west of Chicago -- included all seven Republican members of the Illinois congressional delegation: Peter Roskam, John Shimkus, Mark Kirk, Judy Biggert, Don Manzullo, Aaron Schock and Tim Johnson together in a rare joint press conference at the Capitol. The GOP Senate and House leaders, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio), as well as Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), also objected to the transfer.

So instead of having military kangaroo courts at Guantanamo, Obama is now planning on having military kangaroo courts in Illinois. It seems like he's bringing it to his back yard. I'm not sure what demographic Obama is trying to please with this. Conservatives are furious about the terrorist being moved to American Soil (P.S. Gitmo is on American soil now) Liberals are furious about the still indefinite detention and military trials, and I'm pretty sure middle easterners don't give a fuck about where is indefinitely holding brown people; rather, the fact that they're just randomly snatching them up and holding them somewhere is the key issue here.



Well, Obama didn't say shit about civilian trials, he just wanted to clear out Guantanamo as he promised.. what was it now, a year ago already? Maybe this is a step in the right direction as prisoners detailed in the United States have legal rights whether they are citizens or not. The justice department has previously suggested that Guantanamo bay is outside the U.S. Legal jurisdiction, so prisoners detained there have a reduced chance of a court acknowledging their rights. The whole argument for suspending Habeas Corpus at Gitmo was due to it not being technically on U.S. soil.

I know what you're thinking, now that they're going to be in U.S. Prisons, they'll live the sweat life of watching cable TV and working out all day. Don't forget the 3 meals a day! You don't get that kind of treatment in the ghetto! oh wait.. what? You mean to tell me that there's no longer the "three hots & a cot" treatment in jail anymore? Only two meals a day for Indiana prisoners.



To be really honest, inmates are safer at Gitmo than in stateside civilian prison by a wide margin. For example, Gitmo does not feature shooting inmates for sport (while guards bet on the outcome via videotape) Bags of human feces dumped on inmates with shattered elbows if they complain, freezing inmates for days at a time, 36-year sensory-deprivation solitary confinement, penis amputation, being cooked to death in solar ovens, fingers chewed off by swarms of rats, having skull cracked in order to make inmate lose bowel control, being beaten to death while tied to chair with towel in mouth, gladiator fights to the death, bled to death internally over the course of many days + parents told on TV that inmate deserved it because he used drugs... and a rape every 4 minutes. All that and more happening every day right here in the good ol' US of A.

Then again, People in Northern Illinois are thrilled about this because they have no jobs and money and with this opening up, it would provide a large number of jobs to Americans instead of.. Cubans. Obama now gets to brag about reducing outsourcing. Who doesn't want a low-payig prison job so they can continue to shop at wal-mart instead of dollar tree. This isn't going to anger those Illinois. In fact, I think the only way to really piss off people in Illinois is to pronounce it Illinoise.



I hope nobody thinks Obama will do anything significant for the human rights of Guantanamo detainees. It's going to be a while before anything is even done there. I mean, how long has it been since he first decreed that he was going to shut it down....
