The Walking Dead's Mid-Season Finale

The Walking Dead's Mid-Season Finale

Tonight is the mid-season finale of the walking dead. A series that seems to have taken a note from its original content and has come back from the dead that was the entirety of season 2's boring ass farmville life. To be fair, I did marathon the second season again before the third season started and like the comic book, the show did feel a lot better in its collected form. Now that's a true comic adaptation.

So what can you expect form tonight's episode? How about a little foreign language preview that was pulled from the internet by AMC;

What did that preview show you? A whole lot of cluster fuck going down. But I'll tell you, what doesn't go down is a meeting of Rick and the Governor. We still have a whole second half of the season come next Feb. to build up to that nugget of Woodbury vs. Prison.

Perhaps we should get to the bigger issue. There's a certain new character going to be introduced to the series that was in the comic books. Now, he's black - which by the show's own law means that our current black character 2.0-Dawg is going to have to die. For some unknown reason this show just has to have a highlander rule in killing the only black character in order for a new black character to join the party. It's like if you're playing a Final Fantasy game and want to have a wizard join the party. Not gonna happen unless your current wizard is off the team.

Strange, it is. What more can I tell you about the episodes? Well, it ends with... or at the very least SHOULD end with a line of dialogue from the Dukes of Hazzard in saying;

"Well, it looks like them Dixon boys have found themselves in one helluva a pickle. How are they going to get out of this bucket of syrup." Smack dap diddle do!!
