The New DCU

The New DCU

Yet another comic book post. I know, but it's important. Well, not really. But for those who nerd out about this sort of thing, the DC comics universe has just gotten a bit of a make over and with the release of Flashpoint #5, we finally figured out how.

For those of you at home keeping score, it went down like this. The Reverse Flash, Thawne reveals to Barry that because Barry went back in time to save his mother from Thawne killing her, Barry took in all the speedforce and then time exploded, creating this sort of altered timeline. The batman of this universe, Thomas Wayne, kills Thawne and tells Barry to run away. Barry then runs home to his mother and has a good cry before letting her go and travels back in time to punch himself in the face. Thus stopping him from going back in time. Bam! With that hit the DCnU begins.

And really, that's just fucking hilarious. Flashpoint could have been pretty awesome. But it ended up being two years worth of build up of Barry crying over his dead mother. But executing the reboot could have been awesome in every way. Perhaps DiDio and Lee need to go back in time and punch themselves allowing Final Crisis become the lead into a new reboot. Instead we get this ham-fisted mess.

It makes you wonder what Johns originally had planned for the Flashpoint ending. Because really, the reboot should have/could have been caused by Final Crisis considering time was collapsing into a single point in that story anyway.

Barry just ends up being the worst Flash ever. Wally would be shaking his head, you know, if he still existed. Which for some reason the DCnU has wiped Wally West, the Flash that took the mantle when Barry died and has been that character for the greater part of the last few decades.

Which leads me to hope that Wally just become the new Zoom. He would be the most sympathetic bad guy ever. He has every perfect reason to hate Barry as he erased his wife and children. All that time looking up to the guy just for him to do this would make it hard to find fault with the guy. How could you reshape the world around you without thinking of your nephew who was your side kick for years?

Then again, maybe I should just calm down......

Breath in... breath out. How bad can it be, right? Well, let's talk about today's first issue of the DCnU in Justice League #1

How can I put it in words? I mean, the story is blatantly paced-for-trades. Which means that a story that could have been written through 3 issues gets stretched out to 6 for the sake of collecting it in a trade to sell later on. It's really bad because when talking about the reboot, DC has been very outspoken in their proclamations of "no more writing for the trade".

Which is really odd to start off this DC's mega-hyped, once-in-decades attempt to capture new readers. It's essentially one chapter that only really features two members of the League and barely hints at the overall plot of the story. Do they honestly think that people will see this and want to pay $3.99 for 24 pages of story and wait a month for another chunk?

Which is also odd. Geoff Johns gets the chance to write the story that will be read by more eyes than anything else he will ever do and he spends 20 pages on Frank Miller's Batman's team up with the most cocky Hal Jordan I have read. In which they accomplish the singularly heroic task of watching evildoer's minion blowing himself up, with 4 bonus pages of poor sport Vic Stone running up the score on Mumford. More on that sick shit later.

But even if you're leading off with Batman and Hal, two characters who have had a movie out most recently, as well as being the two characters that have changed the least in this switch over. But even using pretty well established characters they really needlessly pointed out stupid shit about them.

Did you guy s know that Batman DOESN'T HAVE ANY POWERS?! How about that Green Lantern is part of a corps and there's thousands of them roaming around space sectors. Why thank you JLA #1 for hammering that fact into my brain about six billion times.

What was with Superman's first response to meeting Hal Jordan being to clock him and tossing him 30 feet. That sort of thing would have killed your average person. Besides that, isn't that Hal Jordan's thing these days? Punching first and asking questions never. Looks like Geoff got his characters mixed up.

It also feels like an eye rolling situation because when you think about it, it's really going to take only two issues before they rehash a Batman vs Superman fight? Oh how innovative... Oh wait, I guess since this is the DCnU, that situation has never happened before. Maybe Batman and Superman will go in for that first punch on to be broken up by the Flash for no particular reason.

The back and forth between the characters were nothing more than pissing matches and major super dickery right out of the gate it makes you wonder why these are the good guys. And not to mention that all the seams on the costumes are really becoming grating to me. They seem so unnecessary.

Back to Vic Stone. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the adventures of this character, it's a surprise to see how we're suppose to revel in his impending creation into Cyborg.
"Here's a boy who could be a quadzillionaire within 4 years thanks to being the best football player in history. Now let's all watch in awe as his body is horrendously mutilated!!!! He'll have to become a super person after this because it's either that or just die in a lump!".
It's so heart warming. It's sort of like being excited to see Bruce's parents get shot. But maybe Batman will take part of all this. Watch his horrible injuries are going to be the Justice League's fault and that will be used as the motivation for them to stop being such giant douchebags and actually go public to try and help people. Cyborgs parts will more than likely be some Wayne industries property.

Which I guess will at least add a reason as to why one kid who gets into an accident gets to be a superhero while every other amputee has to just deal with it.

Oddly enough, a lot of people have something new to deal with.. The price. For anyone who just got an iPhone/iPad and who purchase apps will be wondering why the pricing of all this is so insane for digital comics. Not just DC's. But as a whole. I mean, for $3 you can buy Angry Birds, Words with Friends or Bejeweled. Maybe if they were charging a dollar per issue, comics might reach the same level of those games in sales. But that shit isn't happening anytime soon at the price point they are suggesting.

Cameron Stewart wrote a really good piece a few months ago on how publishers ought to be aiming for a 99 cent price point, but sadly I can't find it anymore.

I get that there's a lot of cost going into making a comic book and 99 cents may be way too low for the amount being sold today, you don't think that a 99 cent comic will sell more issues in the long run? Maybe it's a matter of just adjusting the business model. Instead of charging $2.99 for 22 pages, you should be charging 99 cents for 10 pages.

I realize that 10 pages for a buck obviously isn't a better value than 20 pages for twice the price, but psychologically it pushes things more firmly into impulse-buy territory. Not to mention that it handles another problem that the comic industry faces - delay time.

Because even if the price point issue is resolved, there's the matter of reading one piece of the story and then waiting 30 days to get the next. You want to draw new readers in you need to give them a quicker turn around. I think that comics should probably be moving towards a weekly/biweekly storytelling model as standard. Having that 20 page piece of story every month just isn't very appealing to those who aren't already used to the Wednesday ritual.

It may mean a lower page count and content per week, but at least it keeps it fresh in your mind. How many shows would you be interested in watching if you only got an episode a month? Having less of it more often seems like an acceptable trade-off in the long run.

Colorful Batman

Colorful Batman

One of my Holiday gifts that I just realized I received was a Batman coloring book. Now, I haven't drawn in a coloring book for many years now but the fact that I had one in the back seat of my old and now dead car that was a Justice League of America one showed that the guy was paying attention to the fact that I like horrible gifts like this.

I finally got around to flipping through it and let me tell you, I was utterly amazed by the thing. Rather than letting this treasure collect dust in the back seat of my future car, I figured that it needs to be shared with everyone.

With a head that back, It's no wonder that he solves crimes with ease.

It's the "Official Movie BOOK to COLOR" the Dark Knight. This has to be awesome!

Now these pictures are for the most part in the order they were in the book

Remember in TDK when Scare Crow scared the shit out of kids at the park? On second thought the kid actually looks kinda constipated.

Things have gotten tough for Mr. Crane. Guess he's back to selling himself on the corner.

Minding your own business in Gotham? NOT ON BATMAN'S WATCH!

I wonder what would happen if this was real life and someone jumped in front of a car like that;

Yup.. Batman's dead.

Batman made that poor guy cry. Jerk.

Heeeello Ladies

Grandma is terrified of the Bats

After a long night fighting crime, Bruce Wayne gets patched up by his... banker?

This is only proof that kids are kinda slow nowadays.

Let me give it a shot

The puzzles were pretty challenging

Who let a lady in a courtroom?

This was my favorite part of the movie

Rachel: "Uhm, Bruce?"
Gordon: "God dammit batman"

His eyes are on the prize

I want that picture on my wall too

So Wayne Manor has a door that goes to the moon?

This has been a real learning experience for the Joker

Looks like the cat is going to put up a fight.

I'm not even sure what can be said about this puzzle. I mean, how could it even be considered a puzzle?

Clearly batman needs to learn more about the Law.. the Gotham L.A.W and Order.

So there you go. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I have. God damn, Batman. What happened to your franchise?

Paul Has Been Dead All Along

Paul Has Been Dead All Along

Earlier this month The Beatles remastered disc were released. Oh yeah, and some Beatles rock band game people are playing was also released. I've had enough time to play around with them like a kid on Christmas.. as much as a kid can play with music on Christmas....

It's Sunday and well, I have to say that it really doesn't feel like a Sunday for me if I'm not listening to The Beatles sometime during the day. It's the way I grew up with Breakfast with the Beatles and going to the Pasadena flea market. Yeah, that's the ticket. Now that I've had almost a month to play around with the music, as much as one can play with music...

In any event, I have to say, I love the music. It's such a great thing to sit around and listen to the sounds of these remastered disc. As we're only four days away from Halloween, it's time to talk about spooky things.. Well, this isn't so spooky. It's just fact. Paul is dead. He died a long ass time ago. Yup, that was the urban legend long before snopes.com was ever around to confirm/deny it. The writing was on the wall and to be honest, I suppose I would have swallowed this pill if I was a youth at the time.

How could you not? Or, more to the point, what am I talking about, right? The legend goes that sprinkled in the Beatles music, by chance or deliberately placed, there is clues telling the listeners that in 1966, the original Paul McCartney, while working on Sgt. Pepper stormed out of a recording session after a fight and rode off in an Austin-Healey that he crashed into a lamp post and died. He was replaced with a Paul look/sound alike and the story carried on without anyone noticing.

You may have been curious as to why on the Let It Be album cover it features photos of all the Beatles taken from their rooftop performance except for Paul, who looks like he is in a studio with a red wall behind him. What's the deal there? Did they just not have a photo of his that worked there? It's cause Paul is dead, of course.

Take a look at the Abbey Road cover in detail from your remastered box and Paul really didn't do himself any favors to dispel the rumors of his death by walking out of step of the others and smoking a cigarette. Not to mention walking bare foot. Anyone of those things on their own and you can easily brush them off. But for those that actually bought into him being a doppelganger or replaced, man it must have broken their brains at the time. There isn't enough tin foil in the world to cover one mans head with all those clues stacked against them.

That stuff not enough to convince you? Take the lyrics of multiple Beatles songs. "He didn't notice that the lights had changed". At which point he crashes into a lamp post as you can hear car crash sounds in Revolution 9 and A Day In The Life. He was pronounced dead on a "Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock as they day begins"

A funeral procession was held days later, as was supposedly implied on the Abbey Road album cover by the Beatles' clothing. John dressed in white like a clergyman. Ringo wearing a black suit like an undertaker. Paul in a blue suit without shoes, as a corpse would and George dressed in blue jeans symbolizing a gravedigger.

More than anything, the walrus represents death in many cultures and Paul is the walrus after all. He's the only one on the Magical Mystery Tour cover that is in all black. Doesn't that ring some bells there?Yes. Let's forget the influence of Lewis Carroll's work on John Lennon here and just go along with the idea that Paul is dead.

Never mind "The Walrus and the Carpenter" where they lure youthful, unsuspecting oysters to follow them only so they could eat them. Much the same way Lennon felt about the Beatles' role in popular culture. Their young unsuspecting fans were looking tot he Beatles for answers but Lennon had none to give, so he came to see the Beatles as a con artist. The Walrus regrets playing such a trick on the oysters and he weeps for them. This can be seen as John sings "I'm crying," in I Am The Walrus.

Then again.. I think there's only one person who could solve this mystery of a dead Paul... BATMAN!

Know Your Public Enemy

Know Your Public Enemy

Well DC has done it again, they produced yet another DCUniverse cartoon. Considering how screwed up DC has had their live action films go into production limbo, it's really amazing to see that they're really on top of their game when it comes to the Animated universe. The last time around in the form of a Green Lantern and Wonder Women animated film, I was blown away on how good they were. This time it was a bit more of a tricky situation. You see, I know my Public Enemy and it's Jeph Loeb.

The latest DC Animated film is Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. Which is the story taken directly from the Jeph Loeb written Superman/Batman: Public Enemies story arc... Yeah, creative, I know. For someone who left the company to go work for Marvel, it's sure nice of them to treat his book with such regard to bump it up on the list of animated films to be made.

I have to say, Green Lantern: First Flight and Wonder Woman were both way better films than this. But it had a lot of cool moments sprinkled along into it. Not to mention you get Kevin Conroy back doing the voice of Batman and Tim Daly as Superman. Anyone who loved both superheroes Bruce Timm/Dini animated series are going to love this film for getting them back to do the voices of the characters. And yes, you get them back at a cost. That is, you have to pay for it in the form of a Jeph Loeb story.

In case you're wondering, yes, the plot matches the comic pretty much as close as they could get it without actually using some of the more stupid elements from the comic book.. Ok, what am I saying, it's all in there. If you've read the comic you know what you're in for. Well, if you've read any Jeph Loeb story in the last few years you know what you're in for.

It's literally an hour of Superman and Batman teaming up to beat the living shit out of every DC hero and villain and a little of Michael Bay's Armageddon thrown in for good measure. I thought it was entertaining enough. If I saw this when I was a kid I would have gone fucking nuts. And really, isn't that what the whole purpose of the film was made for? Wont anyone think of the children?

Solomon Grundy, Mongul (what he wants with money? I don't know), Frost Bite, Mr. Freeze, Bansee, Shiva, Nightshade, Grodd, The Secret Six, Suicide Squad, Despro, Vigilante, Chemo, Bane, Giganta, Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold and many many more...

Hell, the battles alone take up a majority of the film. For an hour and six minute film, I have to say that it has about 10 minutes of actual dialogue. The rest is battle after battle with other super heroes. I'm just going to toss it out there. You have Superman battling Shazam!.. though they call him Captain Marvel, and it's pretty intense. Toss in Hawkman and well, if you've read the comic you know how that ends, but it's pretty much a rock 'em, sock'em bout

Yup, the guest list in this film is a who's-who of the DCU. You should expect less depth than your average 30 minute Batman episode and get ready for fights with every single character listed above. When you see Jeph Loeb on the front of a book or production you know that the story is going to be pretty fucking retarded. It has a lot of one liners and the animation, while not true Bruce Timm style, is good enough to remind you of a poor man's Ed McGuinness, the artist of the comic with the same name. Turn your brain off and pretend your watching an animated version of Commando and it's really just entertaining.

You also have CCH Pounder as Amanda Waller.. and to be honest, whenever I read her character in the comics I always pictured CCH Pounder from her role on The Shield to make a perfect Amanda Waller. You have Power Girl making her debut in the DC animated world as well. Though I'm sure someone will correct me on that if I'm wrong. I suppose I just don't remember any time when her massive power girl tits have been soo... talked about in a childrens movie.

Hell, the first opening to the video is a bleeped out The Daily Show segment letting us know what kind of world we're currently in where Lex Luther is now President. Yeah, that's right. President Lex Luther. Which was a pretty interest story arc in the comic books till Jeph Loeb decided to wrap it all up with this story arc and make him crazy again.

This film was pretty mature, all things considered. Even if you have the stupid elements from the book like the giant robo sup/bats at the end. But even in that, you have a 13 year old boy talk about how he's using X-ray glasses to check out Power Girl's tits. Hey, guess what. There's a damn hole in her costume right on the cleavage area. You don't need X-ray vision to look at them.

Over all, it's a decent Superman/Batman animated film. It has all the things that matter in Daly and Conroy. That in itself should sell you on the idea of this alone. If you enjoy random Jeph Loeb style fighting between superheroes, this will be up your alley as well. In the end, it's not as good as Green Lantern and definitely not as good as Wonder Woman. But it's well worth a viewing.

Meet The New Batgirl

Meet The New Batgirl

We're two weeks from Comic con. I'm starting to feel the pinch. On the plus side, there's going to be plenty of gals dressed as Batgirl... And for that, It's like I've died and gone to heaven.

It's no secret to anyone who knows me. I dig Batgirl. Much to the same effect, I've grew up on the Adam West Batman TV show which introduced us to Barbara Gordon. My life would never be the same again. I was in love and she had a cape and flaming red hair. Yup, thanks a lot Batman for shaping my life.

But she wasn't the first female Bat. In the silver age of comics there was both a Batwoman and Bat-girl. They were erased from history though. The only thing that remains is the name in a newer Batwoman. But that's a story for later on.

To catch you up, for 15 years after the TV show, the comics had the librarian redheaded Barbara, daughter of the commissioner dress up in black and blue with red flowing out of her cowl. Then in the 90's Alan Moore, writer of Watchmen, decided that the joker would have the last laugh and shot her leaving her stuck in a wheelchair. She stopped being Batgirl and just became Oracle.

After years of being a character to feel sorry for, she became the back bone of Batman's organization. She was the one who did all the actual detective work for lazy writers. She was the internet at the finger tips. She ran her own Charlie's Angels style team called Birds of Prey. In that time there has been other Batgirls. Wel namely one named Cassandra who is asian and well, knows kung fu. Writers treated her bad and well, I didn't give much of a fuck about her.

So when news broke out that there would be another Batgirl comic coming out and it was unknown who would take the mantel, I was a little surprised and hopeful. Would they put Barbara back in the costume by some miracle cure to her paralysis? They did just do a mini-series that had these terribly sexual covers on them and hinted towards a magical cure for her. Would I be offended? Not at all. Frankly, I look forward to the comic books that do a sort of flash back to when she was back in tights jumping around.

Yeah, that didn't make me sound creepy. But stiff, Barbara was one of those superheroes that didn't put on the cape because mommy and daddy died. She wasn't in it for revenge. The way her character was written seemed that she did it because it was right. Because it was fun. The Batman books seem to lack that a great deal these days. It was nice to see it in there for a change.

Back to the question at hand, who will be the next Batgirl? Well, DC comics has been teasing for a while now showing covers to the first issue and well, it leads one to speculate. The first cover is showing off the Cassandra Cain batgirl outfit (the asian one) without the covered up mouth piece. So we can tell that it may not be her.. or may it?

No way, they treated her terribly. Causing her to get killed, come back to life evil and so forth and so forth. But then another comic cover to the Batgirl comic popped up soon after using the Batgirl costume that I liked the most. The one that Barbara wore and the one that I grew up oogling.

After seeing the other cover I can safely say that I'm still oogling over that. Hey, call it a sick fetish, I dig Batgirl. it shouldn't be a surprise anymore already. Besides, I think the first gal who dresses up like Batgirl for me.. well, I think I may have to just settle down with cause it doesn't get any better, I'd say. And I like the cover too, especially the dainty way she's pulling on her boots. It's a very girly pose.

But from these covers I think it's failry obvious as to what's happening here. It looks like the title is going to feature 3 different Batgrils. Cass, spoiler and mistfit. All three of them have worked with or around Barbara. Spoiler is one of those who came back fromt he dead as well. Misfit is just one of her birds of prey agents.

So more than likely they'll all be working together under the eye of Oracle, ala Tangent Joker/Mystery of the Batwoman. This is probably the best thing most of us could hope for. It's just a shame that they couldn't attach a real writer for this whole thing. It does ring true as a classy idea, the more I think about it, the more I like it.

Misfit, Cass & Spoiler all have very distinct, very strong personalities; so it would make for a fun book (especially with Babs trying to keep them under control). I really, really hope this doesn't just turn into Barbara's Angels. Although I'm pretty fucking sure it is. Look, you've got the sassy blonde, the wacky redhead and the silent asian!

Then with all these Juniors running around you have Batwoman showing up to take some Deduction going on Detective comics. As a sort of homage to the original Batwoman/Batgirl, she's also named Kate and she's making an impact in a big way.

About two weeks ago Detective Comics #854 came out. With Batman dead and buried, they gave the Detective Comics title to both the question and the new Batwoman. Yes, that's right the new one. At first I didn't much care for her. She was introduced in the pages of 52 and was introduced as a lesbian red head. Which I suppose would have peaked my interest a bit. But her character was written pretty generically.

It was only till the Crime Bible came out that I really started digging the character more and more and now I can not recommend the latest issue of Detective comics enough. Not only is she written amazing, but the look of the book itself is beyond belief. During comic con I'm definety going to have to look for some of the original art to this book. It just looks so good.

So seeing the interior works even better. If you don't believe me then look at it yourself. But you'd be a fool to say that this stuff doesn't blow you away. The look just screams out for attention. The story is still very fresh and new so you can jump on this right now and be at the same level as anyone else reading.

So I'll leave you with one of the best comic covers I have ever seen.

Battle For The Cowl - Aftermath

Battle For The Cowl - Aftermath

Batman is dead. Batman will live forever.

That is to say that Bruce Wayne is dead.. or stuck in the past depending on what you read into Final Crisis. What happens now? I mean, Batman can't die. Gotham will go to total shit, right?

Thus Battle for the Cowl started up. It was a series of comics that was to keep the reader guessing as to who would pick up the Batman mantle and be the caped crusader. The only problem with this is that it had no suspension. Everyone who had the shred of common sense knew that it was going to be Dick Grayson to be the next Batman. So while I was excited about it a couple of months ago

This is howI feel about Battle for the Cowl now that it's over - Nothing fucking happened! I realize it's comics where the status quo always gets put back into place. But not even that happened here. Not a god damn thing happened.

Remember Countdown? We didn't know it at the time, but Countdown came about because Grant Morrison turned in his big Final Crisis idea and Didio & co. looked at it and decided to, rather than let a story build on its own, they could publish a few dozen comics and cash in on the idea before it even went live. They could use the pre-release hype to drive sales of another work.

They handed off the story to a team that varied from capable to awful and we got an awful series out of someone attempting to create the "origin" of someone else's story. "Why is Mary Marvel evil? Here's the story! Never mind that the actual author is going to get around to it, here it is! We're publishing comics!"

Countdown blew, hands-down. It was comics by committee, more so than all corporate comics are comics by committee, and it showed. The quality wavered from terrible to awful, plot points were poorly thought out and dropped mid-arc, and at the end of the series, nothing changed. If you chopped Countdown out of the 52-Final Crisis equation, you'd have a story that still worked perfectly fine on its own. Countdown was the very definition of water-treading. Worse of all it took the weekly comic idea and beat it into the ground.

This is Battle for the Cowl. If you go from the last issue of Grant Morrison's Batman run to the first issue of Batman & Robin, I'm willing to bet that you'll have the whole story. "After Bruce Wayne died, his first and last son team up to carry on his legacy as Batman and Robin!" Remember "Batman and Robin will NEVER die!" from a few months back?

Battle for the Cowl, however, tells the in-between story and pretends to set up new arcs. And the quality shows. Things are set up and knocked down, so at the end of the series, Dick Grayson has a reason to become Batman... except, why wouldn't he become Batman? Oh, right, Batman told him not to in some issue of another comic that has fuck-all to do with Morrison's run. Glad we solved that problem! It's like when Mary Marvel went evil because of Black Adam's powers, only wait! It was due to Darkseid and Desaad! OOPS! ^_^

BftC is hollow. It's a story that was made because DC didn't want to not publish a comic called Batman for any period of time, and the quality of the work reflects that. Tony Daniel has been drawing comics for 10-15 years and still can't choreograph a fight scene or actually nail an iconic shot. He's garbage.

Fuck this comic book, and fuck DC for going for the cash grab instead of letting a story evolve on its own. Tucker Stone said it better than I did:
This time though, I guess I have to admit that it's kind of true. Marvel did the right thing by Captain America. It let a writer and a team of artists work together to create a strong, smart story, and when it came time for the requisite capitalization spin-off--those moronic "Fallen Son" comics--they didn't force them into the main narrative. DC's mistakes with Batman were legion, and they went far and beyond the basic "get the comic books out on time" complaints. Whereas Marvel played things tight, DC vomited out comic books with no eye for longevity, with no concern for whether or not the non-Morrison writers had any idea what was going on, and they're still pumping out new spin-off titles at a rate of 2-3 a week. Whereas the Captain America issues screamed with consistency, the quality barometer for the Batman titles was set at a level where the only thing that mattered was that a salable product was created. There's really no other way to put it: they screwed this one up.
Though even with that said, I'm sure I'm going to like the rest of the Batman arcs. Mainly because, today of all days, Batman and Robin 32 comes out. As well as news of the new Batgirl cames out soon. With Detective comics being as awesome as it is using Batwoman, I'm just going to gloss over this BftC bullshit and look to the future of Batman comics.

Now this is pretty interesting. Every row corresponding with it's Ongoing name is filled with characters who will be making appearances in that title.

-The Club of Heroes showing up in Batman and Robin has me giddy.
-According to Marts, the new Batgirl is one of the 5 people in that row. I'm personally rooting for Calculator.
-Apparently Commissioner Gordon and his twin Commissioner Gordon will be in Batman.
-Azrael will be showing up in Azrael
-There will be a Raccoon in Gotham City Sirens.

Let's hope DC doesn't fuck things up again.
