The Truth About The Public Option...

The Truth About The Public Option...

You want to know the truth about the public option in the universal health care reform act? Well, here you go..

There is no logical or ethical reason to vote against a public option for health care reform.

not a single fucking one.

(unless you're on the payroll for a pharmaceutical or insurance company)

I know what you're thinking. Yes, let's extend health care to a nation of kulaks and labor aristocrats so they can more efficiently oppress the global proletariat and live longer healthier lives in which they can suck even more of the lifeblood from the international worker. Why the hell not, right? I mean, if you weren't an America, I could understand why you would not want Americans to get universal health care. We're dicks and we'll probably oppress you for the sake of our own personal gain.

But why, as a rich American would you not want universal health care to go forth and pass? Yes, your taxes may increase a little, but don't worry, you have enough tax shelters to put it in that you wouldn't even miss it. I mean, what happens when the poor die of malnutrition and a lack of health care? How about when all the illegal immigrants are deported and the middle class is wiped out? Who will serve you, the rich republicans then? Oh wait. Then you'll just bring back black slavery, right? Maybe make the whole system return to a feudalism and all school children will be required to read 1984 to absorb Orwell's radical anticommunist viewpoints.

I mean, that's what it comes down to, you not wanting to pay money to keep poor people alive and ending the whole boot strap picking up mentality, right? I mean, yes, private health care may be better than socialized health care because the government has proven, time and time again, that it is inefficient, poorly managed and slow to act. Private health care responds to the needs of the consumer and widens the choices available to people. But guess what, this wont take over private health care. You'll still have that. It is, after all, a public OPTION.

I'm sure you'll bring in the statistical facts that people in Canada literally die because they have to wait in line to get a medevac from skiing where an avalance has trapped them and they have broken limbs and they literally have to wait there freezing and chewing their own arms for months to keep alive, right? Oh wait, that's just silly sarcasm. It is rather silly that people think that Canadian emergency room queues are hours long due to cultural Marxism.

The public option gives you a choice. It's the fine balance of Government health care and choosing your own adventure. See, if it was a Government will, in Orwellian fashion, they'd be the only ones to declare what is and isn't medicine. Remember the old adage about how an apple a day keeps the doctor away? Perhaps not at all true, but it should be your choice whether or not you want to focus on your diet and exercise instead of having a "surgeon" cut open your body or force-feed you with pharma pills. So hey, while it's nice for the government to help you, you holding the public option to just keep that apple a day mentality is entirely your option as a member of the public.

In closing the truth about the public option is that there's nothing, NOTHING wrong with it at all and if you're opposed to it then you really should stop sucking Ronald Reagan's cock.
